How to Copy Your Tape to Computer
A number of ways may be used to transfer a tape from your video camera to the computer for editing. For a start, you need to make sure that you have everything in place. This includes the cables. Make sure that they are all operational.
You will then need to rewind your tape to the desired point. Rewind or forward it to that exact point that you want to work on. Make sure that your RCA cables are not faulty. You will then have to connect them in the right way. It is easy, you will match them to each other, when you connect the red one from the red input on your will need to do the same to your output. In addition, make sure you follow the signals well.
Since you are getting it from your camera to your computer, you should connect your cables on the part of the camera that says “out” and “in” for the receiver.
