Old desktops and indeed all desktops can support wireless internet connection. If you want to make your old desktop PC wireless, first make sure that your desktop PC is in good order that is there is no unwanted spyware or other harmful files that would slowdown your wireless connection.
To ensure that you do the wireless connection legally, ensure that you have an effective internet service and a cable modem connected to the PC. Then look for a wireless router, and a wireless PC adapter. A wireless adapter is the best way to make the desktop wireless; the adapter is packaged with a CD-ROM setup for installing everything needed to configure the connection.
Alternatively, you can use the wireless PCI card adapter that enables high-speed performance in the wireless connectivity. To install, remove the side panel from desktop and insert the PCI card in one of the white slots. Read instructions carefully to ensure installation is successful.
